What does “Out for delivery” mean?

A driver is bringing the parcel to the recipient.

What it means

The parcel is on the driver's vehicle and part of today's delivery round.

Drivers often call ahead, especially for cash-on-delivery (COD) parcels or ones that need a signature.

Actual status messages from couriers that ETrackings classifies as this status. Thai couriers often report in Thai.

It normally arrives the same day. The exact time depends on where you fall on the driver's route, which can be morning or evening.

Keep your phone's ringer on — the driver may call from an unknown number.
Have cash ready for a COD parcel.
If you won't be there, arrange for someone to receive it or tell the driver when they call, so it isn't marked as a failed delivery.

It's out for delivery but hasn't arrived. What should I do?

Wait until the end of the day — some drivers deliver into the evening. If the status hasn't changed by the next day, contact the courier.

Can I get the driver's number?

Some couriers show the driver's name or number in the parcel details. If not, call the courier's customer service line.

It went from out for delivery to failed delivery. What does that mean?

The driver tried but couldn't deliver, for example because they couldn't reach you. See “Failed delivery” for next steps.
